Compressor 4.10.1 and Additional Instances

Odd issue that came with this update. Additional Instances is only working after I reboot.

After a reboot, I have to turn off Additional Instances, quit Compressor, open Compressor back up, and reselect. I usually use four additional. This 'fix' will not work unless I reboot.

I've been using Compressor from way back, but this one has me stumped.

Hardware is M2 Ultra with 128GB ram.

What exactly happens if you don't reboot? Does it not let you use any additional instances?

What version of macOS?

Did you try deleting Compressor preferences? Just like with Final Cut Pro and Motion, you'd start Compressor while holding down the Command and Option keys; a dialog asking if you want to delete custom settings. Click Delete.

NOTE: these are the application preferences, it does NOT delete the custom or built-in export settings, despite the similarity of the names.
