I have set a family member's iPhone so I can to find their location and have done that more than 3 times now, at their request. Find My works fine after that, but after a while, the app can no longer find their location on my iPhone. They can still see my location. The family member did not change any settings. Why would the Find feature just stop?

Does Find My show a circle range, “Offline”, “No Location Found”, or stop sharing entirely?
Find My depends on a number of factors and accuracy can be affected by GPS, Wi-Fi and/or cellular signal, positioning to the nearest cell tower, environment and many more.

That means their iPhone’s location was known longer than recently, but not known now due to either not being connected to the internet, powered off, or location services have been turned off. You can confirm the latter in Settings > Privacy and Security > Location Services > Find My > Toggle it to Never then back on to While Using the App. Return to the previous page at the top > Tap Share My Location > Make sure Share your Location is enabled. Please ask them to perform those steps.
