Voice recording on Voice Memo app stuck

No, this is not the first time this has happened to me. I’m a voice actor and I record some of my lines on the Voice Memo app. In some recordings, usually when I go over them, they suddenly stop being playable altogether. Can somebody help me fix this issue?
