Printing and sharing entries that have been added to the Journal App on iPhone
iPhone 11 Pro iOS 18.5
This is more a reply than a question because the thread I was directed to with my question had been closed. The old thread already included a number of questions re: how to print or share iPhone Journal entries. I did find a response that showed how to print an entry, but not how to Share an entry.
If you click on the 3 dots in the lower right hand corner of your entry, you will find the option to print. This answer already existed in a previous discussion reply. What was missing is the fact that if you select the Print option you will then see the standard Share options which will allow you to share to multiple other apps, including the Notes App. You can also save the entry to the Files App where the entry will be saved as a PDF. In the Files App the file can be renamed (changed to an RTF file for example) if you wish (though I don’t know if the file actually changes to RTF format).
Also, in the previous discussion thread there were comments regarding how cumbersome it is to type entries into the app on an iPhone and asking for an iPad version to facilitate adding entries. I’ve found that the dictation feature of the Journal App is excellent and entries can be edited manually if needed. Hope this is helpful to Journal users.
