There's a red dot (like the one that indicates you have new mail or text) on the Photos app icon on my iPhone and I've searched through the Photos app and can't find what it's trying to point to. It's been there for weeks now and I can't figure out how to get it to turn off. Can anyone help with this?

Turn off the notifications of Photos app from Settings and turn it on few minutes later, see if it's still there.
If it's still there, check your iCloud account and restart your iPhone or update iOS.
I turned off all notifications for the Photos app and the dot disappeared, but it came back when I turned the notifications on again. But it went away when I just turned off Badges, so I'll just leave that off and I'm happy with that solution. Thanks a lot for your help!
