Health app freezing due to 3GB of glucose data on iPhone

My wife’s iPhone has over 3GB of blood glucose data in her apple health app. This is so much (probably thousands of individual records, or more) that the os cannot display it and the phone gets hot and hangs trying to open it. Because of this we also cannot delete the data using the normal method. Is there any way to remotely delete the data or remove it by connecting to a PC? Thanks

I think the weakened battery is causing the device to fail, and run slower, and may very well be the underlying issue in this case of not being able to delete Health Data.

I would recommend she force restart her iPhone, to see if that helps: Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

If replacing the battery is not a huge deal for you guys, (considering she’ll be getting the new iPhone,) I would recommend doing that, otherwise you’ll have to wait.
