Verve card restriction on iPhone for iCloud and other services

The people on this forum, and who are reading your post, are just other users like yourself, not Apple. I doubt this is even an Apple issue as such. I know I see not-infrequent posts from users in Africa (particularly Nigeria) who have problems with getting credit cards that work. The verification system, or how credit cards work in general there, just appears to be problematic. You will just have to keep on trying until you find one that does work. From what I understand, Apple is basically querying an electronic billing system if your payment type is valid and that system is not replying or is is saying "no". So possibly all Apple is seeing is they run your card and the electronic system that serves your country is not saying "yes".
