Apple books message reads damaged file

As of late I keep getting a message on my macbook air m1 reading i should move my 'books' APP to the trash becasue its damaged. I dont see the app on the app store for some reason. where can i get a new books app? or is there a way to repair my books app that i have? Ive run disk utility and it says everthing is fine. what do i do? Thaink you in advanxcw for any and all help!!
