How to prevent style & cell format from getting corrupted in Numbers sheet?

for some reason, the style (format) of rows/cells in my sheets keeps getting corrupt.

when I go to fix with copy/paste style, sometimes it fixes things, sometimes not.

am I best off c&p the whole sheet to a new sheet?

Or is there a way to fix this reoccurring issue?

Define 'corrupt' please.

Are you saying the cells change to some random formatting?

Or they change to a specific set of formats, different from what you set manually?

Does this happen regularly? frequently? as you edit the sheet? when you open the document?

Is it the same set of changes? to the same set of cells? or does it vary?

What is the nature of the changes you're seeing? You're sure it's not just conditional formatting that's changing the format based on the cells' value?

random in that it's not what I had set the sheet to.

intermittent when I enter new data.

it varies. But mostly it's the font and size.

definitely not conditional.

sometimes alignment is not what I set.

I just now opened and copied style from one row and pasted style to 10 below.

Now it seems to OK.

Weird
