BUG: Mac Calendar Click to Edit Event Not Working

Constantly happening on multiple mac devices of mine (including M1 macbook and M3 Mac Studio, both on latest macOS as of 07/10/2025 with latest apps).

To reproduce:

Open mac calendar, create a few events of different calendar types, then, there's a chance when you double click (same with force click) the event, it will not open a pop-up window for you to edit the event but rather create a new event.

I'm a senior software engineer myself and I know this is not a user error, this has been impacting my workflow for a few months, the issue was first reported here in Mar 2024 but someone closed it, it is a real issue that's still happening.

Please fix.
