iMessage Routinely Not Activating On One eSIM

Hello all,


I have an iPhone 16 with two eSIMs from the same provider (VOXI). One of the eSIMs is used as a business line which is normally turned off in the evening, at weekends and on holiday.


For some reason, when I sometimes turn on the eSIM, iMessage fails to activate until I turn it off and then turn it back on the next day. Is this because I am turning the eSIM off too frequently and the iMessage server doesn't like this or should this not happen?

Interesting to see people have the same problem...


It seems that a lot of it is down to patience and luck, iMessage activated this morning but it took about 10 minutes after turning it off and on and restarting my iPhone. I wish Apple would use a different verification message instead of silent SMS so that you can use it no matter how many times the phone is switched off and on.
