CarPlay is not working on my iPhone 16 running iOS 18.5

For the last couple of weeks I’ve been having a nightmare to get CarPlay to work. I’ve disconnected phone and removed car from settings. It worked at first but now it’s stopped altogether. Says Bluetooth connected but won’t connect. Says ‘car play can’t be started’. Tried using a cable and that worked a couple of times after resetting but it’s stopped working completely now. Driving me nuts! HELP?! Apple what have you done?

I have the iPhone 15 Pro Max and while I’m driving and have the maps showing directions the connection stops altogether and then I have to restart my CarPlay device a lot of times then it reconnects. But I’m having issues since iOS 18 launch. Low volume and now this. I use Bluetooth connection. And I’m also on the same iOS version. And also sometimes I connect and it’s like as if it’s connected but the CarPlay UI doesn’t show up.
