Pairing iPhone 14 with GPS-only Apple Watch SE 2nd gen and using iPhone's cellular service

We use Total Wireless as cell carrier, works fine. I understand they do not provide service to an Apple Watch cellular only model. If I get the Watch GPS only version, can I still use my iPhone's cellular service for it? Provided it's nearby?
