Recently, when I change the PAN settings in Logic it only affects the volume (to the left = mute, to the right = loud) but I don't think I changed anything and I did everything as usually. I compose music but I do not know a lot about technique or precise settings so I need anyone that could help me.

Are you by chance connecting an 8th inch to a 1/4 inch adapter? This happens if you use a mono adapter as well (as opposed to stereo). That or the headphones are being funky.

Is this track inside of a "Track Stack" or Group? That can also cause this behavior.

It is very possible that you have a "Mono" Signal and you are using a "Stereo" Track? This would cause this behavior.
Can you please confirm by looking at the Input Channel Mode Button? This is specifically for a Audio Tracks.

It's not. But I just noticed, it seems to happen only when I have headphones connected, with the sound coming directly out of the mac everything works correctly...
