Wi-Fi access after sharing with a friend on MacBook Air

I recently shared my wifi to a friend, so we could sort something out on her iPad. Does she now have to ask each time, or would she get access if close enough to pick my wifi up? I have Guest User turned off.

Thanks for any help.

No, if she is in wifi range, then she'll be connected automatically.

The difference between WiFi 'regular' access and 'guest' access is that guest access can get on and get to the internet, But NOT get to any local devices. Regular access allows connecting (if they have the passwords) to other local devices and printers as well.

So if this is someone whose trustworthiness is questionable, but you are OK with using your internet, but NOT talking to your other devices, you might want to enable guest access with the same old password, and change the password for your regular access.
