iPhone 16 Pro audio issues with Apple Car Play in a 2025 GMC

Every time my iPhone 16 is connected to my 2025 GMC it screws up the sound on everything including using the hands-free phone, XM, Podcasts, Streaming, FM radio which has nothing to do with the phone except that the phone is connected to Apple Car Play. The volume randomly goes up and down as though it is reacting to auto-volume, but you can be going a steady 80 mph on the highway & it randomly goes down, so you turn it up to hear, then it blasts out the speakers when it randomly comes back up. It is a continuous thing.

I have ensured both have up to date software, both have been restarted numerous times, used brand new cables and followed every troubleshooting fix I have been able to find and it does it still reacts the same every time the phone is connected by either cable or Bluetooth.
