Adding songs to playlists on Apple Music on iOS takes a very long time (long delay)

Whenever I add songs to my playlists on iOS, it takes a very long time for the clickable notification to appear that says the song has been added [This is when using the pop-up menu after clicking the "..." next to a song on iPhone 14 with iOS 18.5]. While the song is being added, Apple Music is very slow in carrying any function. If I quickly try to add the song to another playlist, it takes a very long time for my playlists to load. I've noticed that the delay is much longer when adding a song to long playlist than when adding to a short playlist. For short playlists it works very quickly. This delay issue has been described by other Apple Music users on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/AppleMusic/comments/175fafg/extremely_long_delay_w_adding_songs_to_playlists/ . This issue started happening after an iOS update led to Apple Music creating the clickable "added to playlist" notification that pops up whenever you add a song. I'm a very frequent playlist maker and add pretty much any song I like to multiple playlists. It creates significant frustration for me across the day. I suspect that this issue may only be appearing for people who have very long playlists (thousands of songs) and large Libraries. I would greatly appreciate any way to fix or manage it.
