I'm receiving texts from various phone numbers, the most recent was today from # 657-***-***1 with a message of:
Your Apple profile was used to pay $154.90. To ensure safety, we have put the account at hold. Call Apple Support at 1-864-***-***0 for refund and DND Service.
Are these known scam texts

Simply block, report and delete the message.

Those scammers use a website to spoof different email addresses and phony numbers.
I’ve learned that you must block them because they don’t care. If they spoof your bank, report them to the bank (that’s one way to stop them).
