Can the Mac Mini M4 Pro be connected to an external stereo system?

I just "upgraded" to a Mac mini M4 Pro from my old Mac mini (late 2014). With my late 2014 Mac mini I was able to connect it to an external stereo system via the audio in and headphone out connections. Is it possible to achieve the same with the M4 Pro? My system is a vintage Pioneer SX-1980 and was connected via rca audio cables to 3.5 mini jack input to the late 2014 mini. Any and ALL help is greatly appreciated.

The M4 Pro Mac mini has a "3.5 mm headphone jack with advanced support for high-impedance headphones", but no built-in audio input.

It is possible to get third-party USB "sound cards" to add audio inputs and outputs.

Yes, the Headphone Output works the same as it did with your 2014 Mac mini.

Thanks, Servant of Cats, THAT did the trick. Got a Creative Labs Sound Blaster Play 3 external card and am now jamming like the good ole days. THANKS!
