Logic Pro 11.2 crashing on load, where can I access 11.1 download

After downloading Logic Pro 11.2 it overwrites my existing version Logic Pro.11.1 ( which was faultless) and now crashes when I try to start Logic ( at plugin scan ). I am a professional musician/songwriter with thousands of pounds invested in hardware and software. This is a nightmare for me, Where can i find a link to download Logic Pro 11.1 ?

All my Plugin's are legit purchased and on iLok. I have even tried to use Plug in assistant and disable stuff to no avail. I have been a Logic user since God was a boy, but now thinking i should move to protools ( another learning curve)

Please help. Phil

Sir,

You are going to have to start backing up Logic Pro before you update from here on out.

  1. Create a new folder in the Applications folder. Name the folder with the name and version of the application (for example, "Logic Pro 11.1.2"). To check the version of Logic Pro you have, open the application and choose About Logic Pro from the Logic Pro menu.
  2. Select the Logic Pro application in the Applications folder. Choose File > Compress "Logic Pro." It will take a few minutes to compress.
  3. Move the resulting "Logic Pro.zip" file into the folder you created in step 1.
  4. If you need to save space on your startup disk, move the folder containing the ZIP file to an external storage device, then delete the folder in your Applications folder.

I understand that you are in this predicament now though. Do you know anyone that can send you the right version of this application?

Another workaround is to remove all 3rd party plugins from your components folder to see if this is an issue outside of Logic Pro. Simply save them to a folder on your desktop. If you need me to show you how to do this, just let me know, and I am happy to walk you through it. BTW hold CMD as you drag these files out so you do not duplicate but rather remove them from the Components folder.

Logic Pro 11.2 has been kind of tricky so your troubleshooting needs to be methodical.

Once everything is working smoothly. You are going to have to insert components Alphabetically or by Manufacturer. This is what I did and I was able to locate the problem. I dragged in every plug-in that starts with the letter "A" and then I would up up Logic. If everything went smoothly, I would then quit Logic Pro and drag in the next letter "B". Open up Logic Pro and if Group "B" went well, you can continue on with this experiment until Logic Pro hangs. Once things start getting wonky, you can surmise that this is the group giving you the issue.

This is the only way to see which plug-in is potentially causing the issue.

Lastly, if you send me your Crash Report....I will do my best to tell you which plug-in is causing the issue.

Best of luck to you. Blessings!
