How to permanently delete cloud icon apps on iPad Air?

Good morning everyone, I would like to permanently delete the apps with the cloud icon. Some time ago, I uninstalled several apps, and now they have randomly reappeared on my iPad.

How can I prevent this from happening?

I’ve done a lot of research and I saw that in the App Store I can hide the apps one by one.

I’m tired of this kind of behavior from Apple—it’s really annoying.

Thank you very much.

My desktop screens fill up uselessly.

As described, you appear to be offloading the associated App(s), not deleting them from your iPad.

Assuming that your iPad is not centrally managed by an Educational Establishment or Business (as in such circumstances the device may be remotely managed) - if you are experiencing difficulties with adding, updating or removing Apps from your iPad - you’ll need to check your ScreenTime restrictions:

  • Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Adding Apps - set to Allow
  • Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Deleting Apps - set to Allow
  • Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > In-app Purchases - set to Allow
