Sound problems on HomePod mini and Apple Music

For several days now, the music from Apple Music has sounded very muffled and quiet on my HomePod. Voices are barely audible and high frequencies are distorted. However, Siri's own announcements, such as weather reports or confirmation of a switch to iTunes, are transmitted very clearly. So it can't be a physical problem. Resetting the device didn't help either.
