Activation Lock Denied on Apple Watch SE – Despite Proof of Purchase

I’m posting here because I’ve exhausted all support options, and I still can’t get access to an Apple Watch I legally purchased.
Back in early 2024, I bought an Apple Watch SE from an authorized carrier in the U.S. (as part of a buy-one-get-one promotion). The watch was activated on my account and used without issue.
Later, it became Activation Locked, tied to an Apple ID that Apple has since deactivated. Which they also won’t give me a reason as to why either. I cannot access that account or the device.
I submitted three Activation Lock removal requests to Apple:
- The first two included a purchase receipt and photos of the watch + box (with visible serial number).
- For the third, I added a government-issued ID from the original account holder, matching the receipt exactly.
All three were denied — no reason given.
