Upgraded to iOS 18.5 and my Apple Watch complications are disappearing

After the upgrade two nights ago… My messages calendar and battery compilations are missing from my watch. They're all missing from the compilations list in the watch app as well. I checked and both are up-to-date with their software and I hard reset both but the compilations keep disappearing. I also keep getting asked if whether and calendar can use my location

Yes, this is driving me absolutely crazy. Watch series 4 with watch OS 10.6.1.

Just in the last week my calendar and weather complications keep disappearing off my watch face, and reappearing asking for permissions. No matter how many times I add them back - when they even show as available - they disappear again. I’ve tried updating from my phone and the watch directly.

Did you already try to force restart your iPhone and Apple Watch?

Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

To force restart your watch, press and hold the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again.

Did you check on your iPhone in Settings/Privacy & Security/Location Services, -> Calendar, Weather and Apple Watch Faces, are still set to "While using the App"?
