How can I automate hydroponic systems with Apple Home?

I’m setting up a hydroponic system and I’m planning to use AppleHome to switch various elements on/off during the day (Water Pumps / UV Lights / Fans). Thing is I don’t need these elements on for a long time (10-15mins every hour) is there a way to set this up without making loads of automations or is there a 3rd party app I could use.
