Fixing 'notifications silenced' issue on iPhone

If your family & friends are saying your “notifications silenced” when texting you. If you’ve tried turning focusing off and all the other fixes try turning silent mode off. I tried that and it worked. I’m sure there other solutions depending how individual phones are set up but this worked for me after everything failed. Goodluck
