Echo during FaceTime using Mac mini

Is there any hope that Apple will address this issue on the Mac mini? Echo during FaceTime call - Apple Community

There is no echo using Zoom or Teams with the same Mac mini and peripherals, so it seems this is a decision that Apple is making.
