My Apple Watch Ultra gets stuck in water lock and won't let me start a dive

Whenever you start a dive with the (Depth or) Oceanic+ app, your water lock starts and it is impossible to get to the dive screen by pushing the action button on the "I 'm Fit and Ready to Dive" screen as all buttons seem disabled by the water lock.

The workaround seems to be to not assign a dive app to the action button, but for instance the "Torch" app.

Setup "auto-launch" under "Watch Settings - General": "When submerged" - "Selected App" - "Oceanic+" (or "Depth"), "Threshold when submerged" "At 1M".

Before diving, start the wanted dive app by pushing the crown. Once the app is started, water lock is on, but the action button remains functional (but only when no dive app is assigned to it).

When you forget to start the dive app upfront, it will auto-launch at 1m below surface. Push the action button to acknowledge you are fit and ready to dive.

Why isn't this documented elsewhere ?
