Black screen loop on Mac mini despite following Apple help advice

I followed all the advice that is available at Apple help and other sites on the web. My mini Mac respond with a black screen. Sometimes I ** offered the opportunity to enter either my Gmail address telephone number. Following this approach I get absolutely nowhere. Whatever I try the computer seems to be in some sort of loop from which he cannot escape. I've tried every password that I can remember, I have created new passwords which are not recognised anywhere and I ** at my wits end . Can anybody offer any advice that will overcome my computer's desire to stay in the loop that does not help me at all. I cannot access the Internet., My iPhone and iPad connect with the Internet successfully and do all the other things I expect them to do. Any ideas?

Is you Mini rebooting or just having the monitor go black every now and then for a couple of seconds?

If it's the latter then you're experiencing what many others are with the Mini. I had the same issue. In another topic a user noted that they had Zoom installed and after uninstalling it their occasional blackouts stopped. I uninstalled Zoom and, voila, my occasional blackouts stopped and haven't come back.

Do you have Zoom installed? If so uninstall it and see if that stops the occasional blackouts.

What exactly seems to be the problem?

If you’re experiencing a boot loop, try checking whether it occurs only when certain monitors are connected. For instance, if you’re using an HDMI display, try disconnecting it and using a USB-C monitor instead to see if the issue persists.

A boot loop often points to a kernel panic, which may be caused by a software or firmware issue. In such cases, I recommend performing a DFU restore—this fully reinstalls the firmware and macOS, potentially resolving the issue entirely.

If you’re not familiar with how to do a DFU restore, I’d suggest taking the device to a nearby authorized service provider for assistance.

Hope it makes sense
