Is my Apple Watch Ultra 2 reading heart rate from the chest strap?

When I pair my Polar H10 chest strap heart monitor to my Ultra Watch 2 and go into watch settings it says connected. Is my watch reading my heart rate from the strap or from the sensors under the watch?

If your Apple Watch is connected to the Polar H10, it automatically uses the chest strap for heart rate, even though it doesn’t show that on the interface.
