Folders merged after using a cloud service

Hi guys!

Latley I started to use pCloud service, and after I used them once with their "sync" folder option, which syncs folders that i choose with the cloud and the macbook.

I backed up some folder that are named by year's, (2022,2023,2024 etc...), and inside those folders there are folders with names of months's (January ry, feb etc...), and it kind of made a salad out of all of them.

After I used this "sync option, which I already canceled, every "year" folder is now mixed with every other "year" folder, and also the months.

So when I want to select a project from 2024 - April , when I go the my folder named "2024" and than to a folder named "April ", I get projects from 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025, and all the year folders I'v backed up, Instead of each year and month to be separate.

Now every year folder consist of the same things as all other year folders.

Its like it all have been combined and duplicated. (I checked, every year folder weighs the same)

I tried to use pCloud support, but since I cancled this option on their cloud, they think the problem is with my MacOs and not their service, so I came here.
