Hi I was wondering if anyone knew why when I click on my boot usb on my Mac Pro it boots to a white screen. I put in a hdd formatted to extended (journaled) but when I click the usb it goes to a white screen and the usb is ok because it works with my iMac any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks

Blank screen suggests that the Mac can not find a boot drive.

What happens if you turn off the Mac Pro, then turn it on holding the Alt (Option) key..?

You'd better install macOS on your Mac Pro, it's probably Intel Xeon base Mac Pro with Recovery Mode.
