I was making using iMovie to make a film with my friends, and I wanted to add an iMovie soundtrack at one part of that film. But whenever I trim the soundtrack, it always goes back to the beginning of the film.
Could someone help with this?

iOS iMovie dynamically sizes soundtracks to fit the length of the movie. That's why you are having trouble trying to trim it shorter. I believe that you can selectively place ordinary song clips, just not sound tracks.
You might try splitting the soundtrack at the point where you want it to begin playing. Then mute the split off portion in front of it. I'm not sure, but I believe that the movie will play silently as it moves through the muted portion of the soundtrack, and then start playing sound thereafter. So, in other words, instead of trimming, try muting the portion that you don't want to hear.
