Missing Album Booklets in Music (iTunes)
I have been away from my Music (iTunes) due to illness for some time. On returning, and updating my iMac 27” 2019 running on the latest macOS Sequoia 15.5. I find there are a few ‘gremlins’, one of them being in the Apple Music application.
All seemed fine and dandy until I tried to open a digital album booklet. I tried many of the digital album booklets, some official Apple Music specially enhanced purchases.
Two that stand out are both Pink Floyd albums:
Firstly the ‘50th Anniversary Dark Side of the Moon’ which was sold as a “iTunes LP”, this had wonderfull enhanced features and the file in the finder being an iTunes LP (v2.0). A sort of an interactive slide show.
Secondly the same problem with the enhanced features of Pink Floyd’s ‘The Wall’. The Wall (Deluxe Experience Edition) [Remastered] - iTunes LP (v3.0) is the file title.
Another one which is a simple PDF file, is the Frank Zappa, iTune purchased album ‘Halloween 81’ of the 2 October 2020.
None of these purchased features work when I attempt to open them. Plus, not forgetting all the other digital booklets which are all PDF files that I created exactly as per the booklets accompanying the CDs I had purchased. These all worked before the recent macOS Sequoia update.
These album booklet PDFs are all in their individual album folders and can be accessed only by right-clicking the individual track title (in Music) and scrolling down to ’Show in finder’.
None of these now open in (Apple) Music 1.5.5.34 by clicking on the track tile that is conveniently shown under the subtitle ‘Digital Extras’.
Can someone please point me in the right direction to the solution.
