Mac mini M4 Pro screen go black randomly

My Mac Mini M4 running macOS 15.5 (24F74) is connected to a 27" Apple Thunderbolt display (with the original Thunderbolt cable supplied with the display.

After about 4-months of flawless use, the display began randomly blacking out last month. This is not an issue with the monitor itself or the cables—everything has been tested and works correctly with other computers.

The blackouts are short in duration (3-4 secs), but sudden and extremely frustrating. Apple should be made aware of this issue and investigate it further. Sometimes the computer just restart itself.

Do you have the Zoom app installed? For one user in another thread uninstalling Zoom solved their problem.

I was having the same issue with my M4 Mini and had Zoom installed. I uninstalled Zoom and it's supporting files (with the shareware Find Any File) and haven't had a reoccurrence of the blackouts since.

If you have Zoom try uninstalling it and see if there's any improvement.

It happens either way, either using any of the front or rear ports, it also happens with an LG Monitor. I

t does not happen when tested the Thunderbolt display with a Mac Book pro (where the LG display is usually connected). Again, note that I have this computer Mac Min Pro m4 since january. These problems only arise some weeks ago becoming everyday more and more frequent (today number of events: 6 times in 7hours of work…)
