How do I fix Apple Music issues on macOS Sequoia 15.5?

really bizarre stuff going on. tried to play from a cd I had imported. it played the imported song OK to my bluetooth headset but whenever I try to play from cd all kinds of weird stuff happen and the odd time it actually did play from the cd but only if I go to privacy and deselect eternal devices and re enable. so that works for little while sometime before it quits working again.

in sound menu it was only showing selected output or speakers. then suddenly it showed the headphone all by itself for no apparent reason just once. so back to music app and it won't play anything on the cd, only imported songs or at least sometimes when it isn't disconnecting the headphones or denying output to the headphones randomly whenever it feels like it.

was told 300,000 people are. having issues with the music app. any other trouble shooting steps I can try to track down why these random issues are happening?
