LOGIC problem with audio interface
I’m experiencing an issue with Logic Pro X that I can’t seem to solve. I’m using an audio interface (I’ve tested two: Behringer UMC22 and Focusrite Scarlett) connected via USB. Logic recognizes the interface, and when I plug in my guitar, I can see the green input signal, but I can’t hear any sound through my headphones, and it doesn’t recordeither. However, everything works perfectly in GarageBand with the same interface and setup, so it seems the problem is specifically with Logic Pro.
Here’s what I’ve already tried:
- Verified input and output settings in Logic (USB Audio CODEC, headphones connected to the Mac).
- Enabled input monitoring.
- Tried different audio track types and input channels.
- Uninstalled and reinstalled Logic Pro.
- Updated macOS to the latest version.
- Reset Logic preferences (using Control + Option on startup).
- Tested different buffer sizes (low and high).
None of these attempts fixed the issue. I still can’t hear or record my guitar properly, even though Logic shows the input signal.
Could this be a compatibility issue or a hidden setting I’m missing? I’d really appreciate any help you can provide.
Best regards,
