Swapping MainStage alias channels for patch deletion in projects

I have some MainStage projects that have lots of patches set up for various songs. As songs have been added over the past few years, I now want to delete some songs that we don't play anymore (saving lots of memory if I do this), but many of these are patches contain channels that are master channels that are aliased to other patches.

If I delete any patches, it deletes the aliased channels everywhere. Other than reset the aliased channels to 'normal' and then choose one to the main channel that others are aliased from copying and pasting them into all the other patches, are the any other options, such as selecting a channel that is currently an alias and swapping it to be the 'master' as it were?

Going forward, I will create a master patch that has all the sounds I will want to alias in the future, but this is a lot of work to set up.

Many thanks,

Neil

Hopefully this all makes sense?
