iPhone playlist rearrangement issue new songs move to bottom and reverse order

When i add new music to my playlist i have sorted them so that the new ones get added on top. But when i have to edit them and rearrange it, all the new songs go to the bottom of the playlist and i have to scroll all the way to the bottom and all the songs are in reverse order now. ive played around with the filter options and still not able to find a solution to it. HELP ME, my ocd is killing me.
