Apple home reduces my mac volume significantly when i am viewing a live security camera feed

I am running my apple home through a home hub being an apple tv. Whenever i view a live feed from my security cameras it dumps my macs volume very low. How can i fix this, i want to use my mac while having cameras at the ready to look at, but cant do what i want to do with low volume.
