Apple Music app crashes on iPadOS 17.7.8

iPad 6th gen with 32gb/11gb free storage has a slow wifi connection speed to the point the Music app crashes. Restart app and power off doesn't solve problems. My iPhone se3 doesn't have this problem. The iPad wifi / Music app problem crashes so often I've switched to cd's. Happens more often in the morning than in the afternoon and evenings.

iPad - Internet wifi speed test shows slow speeds during first test. 2nd and 3rd tests show higher download speeds. This is not the case with the iphone.

Music connection: iPad - camera adapter w/ power - AQ Dragonfly Red DAC - hard line to amp for lossless playback.

A paying subscription should not have these problems.
