Lost Journal app entries after iCloud restore

Hi,

I recently reset my iPhone 13 Pro to factory settings and restored all my data using an iCloud backup. Everything came back correctly except for the entries in the Journal app.

I have iCloud sync enabled for Journal, so I expected all my data to be restored. However, after setting up the device again, none of my previous journal entries are there.

I’ve looked through the forum and found that several other users have reported the same issue, but the threads are archived and there are no clear answers or solutions.

I’ve lost very important information, including work-related ideas that were only saved in the app. It’s extremely frustrating and disappointing that an Apple app doesn't handle backups reliably—especially when iCloud is supposed to keep our personal data safe.

This shouldn’t happen. I’d really appreciate an official response from Apple or a solution that actually works.
