Is it possible to combine local and iCloud WhatsApp backups?

Hi guys,

In this case, I have two backups of my phone. The first is a local backup on my laptop from April 2025, and the second is an iCloud backup. In May, I bought a new phone and installed WhatsApp properly. I restored all chats and media from my iCloud backup.

However, I accidentally deleted the iCloud backup. Without realizing it, in June, I noticed that all the media from my WhatsApp chats had disappeared — everything turned blank. I think this happened because I deleted the iCloud backup before the restore process was fully completed.

Now, my WhatsApp still has all the old chats, but all the media is missing. Is there any way I can merge my current backup with the local backup from April 2025 (which includes the media) and restore everything to my phone?

Or is there any other solution? Thank you.
