Can't change artist name in Music app iPhone (more detail in post)

I can't think of a succinct way to explain this, so I'll just give the specific example I'm presently dealing with.

I'm trying to manually import to my phone music by a band called Vildhjarta.

On iTunes/Apple Music, their name is spelled with a lowercase v.

In the app, on my computer, I've made the V uppercase.

Upon importing to my phone, it's autocorrected back to lowercase.

I'm not logged into my iTunes account on my computer when doing this, and I don't have an Apple Music account at all, nor am I logged into my Apple account on my phone.

It's happening with both music of theirs I've purchased from the iTunes store, and music of theirs I've purchased elsewhere.

If, however, I change their name to anything other than (V/v)ildhjarta, this auto-correction, doesn't occur. I.e. if I change the name, for purely testing purposes, to Vild, and then importing, it stays as Vild. I've noticed this same problem with other artists as well, but not all and not many - it seems weirdly selective in a way I can't discern. Additionally, it doesn't happen at all with song or album titles.

I've changed the artist info, the album artist info, the sorting info, and converted, deleted, re-opened, re-converted and nothing seems to make a difference. Their name automatically and irrevocably remains lowercase on my phone.

Why is this happening and is there a fix?
