Wallet Transaction History not automatically updating since 28/Jun/2025

Transaction history has stopped updating automatically in the Wallet starting on or around 28 June 2025. I first noticed it when a transaction failed to show up after using Wallet to pay a restaurant. (The transaction went through.) Likewise for other transactions that day and since, at various stores etc.

I read online to ensure "Fetch Data" is enabled in the Wallet App (no such setting exists, or it is not where anyone can find it). None of the app settings were changed, anyway, between 27 and 28 June.

I stumbled on a workaround, by going to Settings-Wallet-the card-Show History, and turning it OFF then ON. Then, transaction history for that card shows up in the Wallet. You have to do this for each card.

Did Apple sneak an update onto our phones? I don't recall a system update in the past few days. Hopefully the next iPhone update will have a corrective patch.
