How to Stop My Studio Display Monitor From Tilting Backward

I have the tilt-adjustable version of the Apple Studio Display, and it keeps tilting backward on its own. I’ve tried manually repositioning it to a more upright angle, but it won’t hold—it slowly leans back again.

I remember using a small wedge-style gizmo with an older iMac that kept the screen from reclining too far, but I can’t find a similar product specifically for the Studio Display. I don’t want to switch to a VESA mount unless absolutely necessary.

Has anyone found a simple solution—like a wedge, pad, or other non-permanent fix—that works well with the Studio Display’s hinge? Bonus if it looks clean on the desk and doesn’t damage the stand.

Also wondering — could this be a defect in the hinge mechanism? The monitor is past its return window but still under warranty. Has anyone had success getting Apple to repair or replace a Studio Display that won’t hold its tilt properly?

Thanks in advance for any advice!
