SOLVED!!! Email flashing constantly when viewing all

After the new iPhone mail app was released (late 2024), the email app on my iPhone 16 keeps flashing continuously. I can view individual mailboxes just fine, but “All mail” flashes and you can’t select a single email. SUPER ANNOYING!! Well. I just found a fix. Click the 3 dots on upper right and unselect “show contact photos.” Hopefully, a long term fix. Apple- you need to do better when a key phone function doesn’t work. Really bad.
