Gmail Links Not Opening in Internal Browser

All of a sudden, when clicking a link within an email on the gmail app, Safari is no longer showing as an option and links are not opening in Gmail’s internal browser, which is what I want.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Gmail app multiple times.

I have cleared Safari data and checked multiple times that no settings have changed.

This is frustrating because it suddenly started happening and because I want A) Safari to show up again and B) I want links to open within the Gmail app.
