Can AirPods Pro support a monaural hearing mode?

For those of us with complete hearing loss on one side, I'm asking Apple look into a Monaural setting for the EarPods pro.

Specifically, is it possible to have the EarPod Pros to effectively work in mono rather than Stereo? So the sound received by the mic on the deaf ear gets combined with the sound from the Non-deaf side and played through both EarPods.

If I'm at a restaurant for example and using my EarPods Pros to filter background noise,I still cannot hear the person on my left, unless I turn to look at them. If the hearing from my dear-ear EarPod was routed to my good ear, I could hear conversations from all around me.

That feature in traditional hearing Aids is sometimes called, "Hear Everyone".

It is considered a non-helpful throwback, because hearing-aid makers worked really hard to get you directional hearing of the speech from the direction you are facing, and filtering out everything else (the cafeteria effect) from every other direction. For many reasons, It is very difficult to provide BOTH 'Hear Everyone' AND filter out the "cafeteria effect".

My recommendation as a traditional hearing-aid user is to press to sit more strategically.

Make sure you are facing as many of most important parties in your group as possible. You may even need to INSIST on sitting at the head of the [rectangular] table, possibly even displacing an honored guest from that position. (They can be invited to sit on your strong [hearing] side). Get others to help you get situated so that you can hear. Don't be shy about asking to trade places with others to hear better.

Advocate for yourself!

Otherwise you will be quietly left out of the conversation because you can not hear as well as others. And you will slowly and subtly drift away from the group.
