Using Klarna for authorization hold

My iPad has a broken screen and I’d like to get you expressed replacement with AppleCare, but I don’t have a credit card.

When I went through the checkout process to complete the repair request, it comes to a point where you can use Apple Pay to pay for the replacement and the hold.

When I click on Apple Pay, it gives me the option to use Klarna — the buy now pay later service. This is something I have set up with my Apple Pay and use it for other purchases.

It looks like the transaction would go through fine, but I was hesitant to do this. Basically, I want to use Klarna as a line of credit to cover the authorization hold with the hope that it would be reversed once I return my iPad.

Has anyone ever done this?

these forums are user helping other users like yourself, it's sort of going

to a physical apple store and asking other customers there advice

if it was me then I would probably reach out to their official support channels
